Give Herman Mashaba a chance to prove himself

COPE President Mosiuoa Lekota is urging all South Africans to free themselves from Apartheid thinking.

The African National Congress and the Democratic Alliance are non-racial formations and both parties sworn allegiance to the country's constitution.

Both Mashaba and Tau were voted for by black and white citizens of the Johannesburg Metro.

The two also come from the dusty streets of the Black Townships, therefore the test must be that dictated by democracy.

Congress of the People is of the opinion that the citizens must give Mashaba a chance to prove himself.
