The AU Commission would like to acknowledge the excellent work of the National Intelligence and Security Services of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, host of the African Union Headquarters, in ensuring the safety and security of the AU Commission Chairperson, the Union's leadership as well as various diplomatic representations related to the AU.

The African Union Commission would like to reiterate that it maintains good cooperation and collaboration with Governments across the continent, whether that be the Republic of South Africa, as stated in the reports, or any other AU Member State.
