Daily Sun (July 3 2014) - THE BISHOP promised the deacon's wife a surprise gift . . . and allegedly sent her a WhatsApp picture of his 4-5. But it was the bishop who was in for a BIG surprise.

IT WAS THE DEACON, NOT HIS WIFE, WHO WAS HOLDING THE PHONE!

Given Ngwenya (29) and his young wife Bukeka Ngwenya (23) were lying in bed at home in Cambridge, East London in the Eastern Cape at about the 11pm on Saturday 26 June.

Bukeka's phone beeped and at first she was worried. Who would send her a message at that time of night? She handed the phone to her husband.

When they checked the profile photo, they realised it was Bishop Felix Khumalo, the fourth bishop in the First Twelve Apostolic Church of Christ, who was sending the message from Joburg.

Given replied as if he was his wife.

Then Felix promised to visit Bukeka some time in August.

Given replied: "Okay, daddy. Please bring something nice."

Felix told Bukeka he would bring her such a nice thing that she'd forget about anything she'd ever had before.

That's when he allegedly sent her the picture of his 4-5 - and then he took the next step.

He asked Bukeka to send him a picture of her private parts in return.

Given, still shocked at the unwanted image of the bishop's 4-5, replied that it was difficult to take photos.

The conversation carried on for a long time until Given decided to let Felix know who was having the conversation.

"Father Khumalo, I thank you for your cruelty," he messaged.

"I am going to take to this conversation to the church leaders. You are trying to seduce my wife while I am still alive."

Then Felix blocked the phone.

Given told Daily Sun that he is very disappointed.

"We have been good friends with Bishop Khumalo for many years. I remember I opened a church in KwaMhlanga, Mpumalanga and Bishop Khumalo was the first person to support me, but now he has let us down.

"Now we must look for another church to suit our needs."

Bukeka told Daily Sun she was shocked that a respected man of the church would send a picture of his private parts.

"I told myself this man was doing this to different women and I wanted to teach him a lesson. That is why we decided to tell Daily Sun. When he visited our house in Mthatha my husband treated him with respect as a senior member of our church," she said.

Bishop JP Ndebele told Daily Sun he had asked Given to come to Joburg so he could hear the full story. "We will take it from there," he said.

Khanyile Khumalo, Felix's wife, told Daily Sun she had heard the story. "I tried to ask him about it but he ran away," she said.

"The situation is very tense at home."

When Daily Sun tried to speak to Felix about the 4-5 on the phone, he simply put down the phone.
