Daily Sun (April 25 2014) - LALA is delighted she knows Satan. She says he traced her car which her boyfriend took with all her valuables.
NOW POLICE ARE LOOKING FOR EX-LOVER, PAPA G, WHO LALA SAYS CLAIMED TO BE A COP.
"Satan is a taxi driver I know. I'm glad I had his cellphone number," Lala Mahane (50) told Daily Sun yesterday.
"Without it I would have been the biggest loser!"
Lala said she was sure Papa G (whose real name is Gift Bobiba) was the love of her life when she met him on Date and Rate social media last June.
He moved into her house in Dube, Soweto just four months later.
-->
"He told me he worked for the police - he had a police identity card," she said. "He also told me he worked for the National Prosecuting Authority.
"Months later, he changed his tune and told me he worked for the traffic department and always had licence application papers with him. I believed him." But then love turned to tears. When Lala went home one day last month, her 1995 navy-blue Toyota Corolla was missing - along with her furniture, clothes and valuables.
Her room was a mess, and Papa G was gone.
That's when her hero, Satan, came to the rescue.
-->
Satan, who works at Joburg's Noord Street taxi rank, traced Lala's car to Limpopo!
She said Satan had been in touch with Papa G.
"He told me Papa G owes taxi owners more than R20 000. He took their money, promising to get them licence discs at a discount."
"He told me Papa G was driving my car when one of the taxi owners took it from him as he owed the man over R10 000."
-->
When Daily Sun spoke to Papa G yesterday, he said he owed money to the man who took Lala's car from him.
Papa G claimed Lala destroyed his life, but said he didn't want to say any more or discuss his personal life in media.
Lala said that since her lover went missing many people had visited her, claiming he owed them.
Lala said that when she went to Papa G's parents' house in Soshanguve, Pretoria, his mum told her she would see her son only when she buried him!
-->
His mum told her she was tired of people coming to her place asking for money her son had taken.
She claimed Papa G also took a camera and gaming devices her 22-year-old son had borrowed. "Now I have to pay for them."
Satan confirmed to Daily Sun yesterday that a taxi owner took the car from Papa G as he owed the taxi driver money.
Warrant Officer Kay Makhubela confirmed that Lala had opened a theft case at Orlando cop shop.
Makhubela appealed for people to help cops arrest Papa G. Anyone with information should call
011 527 0000 or 10111
And Soweto resident Same Makgala (54) said he opened a case after Papa G ran off with R1 500 of his.
