PROSECUTE MALEMA COPY-CATS ALSO: FF PLUS DEMANDS
Copy-cats of Malema should also, just like Julius Malema, be prosecuted. This was the comment of Mr. Jaco Mulder, FF Plus Leader in Gauteng and Member of the Provincial Legislature.
This follows after the Minister of Arts and Culture, Lulu Xingwana, the Premier of Gauteng, Nomvula Mokonyane and the Mayor of the Tshwane Metro, Gwen Ramakgopa ignored a court order by singing the controversial song "Dubul' iBhunu" in Mamelodi, Pretoria yesterday during the 31st celebration of the death of Solomon Mahlangu, an activist during the "struggle-era".
The FF Plus demands that the ANC now places a total ban on all its members from singing this song. Mr. Gwede Mantashe, Secretary General of the ANC, last night confirmed that President Jacob Zuma in a conversation with Julius Malema forbade him to make further inciting statements and from singing parts of this song.
Mulder further expressed his shock with the fact that prominent members of the ANC, such as a minister, a premier and mayor could act so irresponsibly and said that it attests of poor leadership and a lack off moral capital.
The FF Plus demands that immediate action is taken by the ANC and also demands that everyone who sings this song should appear before the courts. The FF Plus is at present undertaking consultations to decide on whether to take further steps against these three prominent ANC members.
