ANC STATEMENT ON THE ROBBERY AND ASSAULT OF ADVOCATE DALI MPOFU

The African National Congress condemns the robbery and assault of Advocate Dali Mpofu today at a beach in the Eastern Cape. This act of thuggerism should not be tolerated as it undermines public safety and a threat to lives (see here). 

We wish him speedy recovery from the assault and that those behind his assault are arrested and brought to book.
