Eighty Nine Percent Victory for ANC Limpopo: By-Election Results

The African National Congress (ANC) Limpopo wishes to thank voters who participated in Limpopo wards where By-Elections took place yesterday, 5 October 2011

Once again, this electoral victory, in which the ANC retained eight out of the nine wards contested, is an indication of the continued confidence and support the ANC enjoys from its constituencies.

For the benefit of context we share below the ANC's percentage share of ANC Ward Councillor victories per ward:

Thulamela Ward 11: 83.23%

Thulamela Ward 12: 95.78%

Makhado Ward 04: 68.53%

Makhado Ward 10: 93.55%

Makhado Ward 11: 91.77%

Makhado Ward 15: 92.03%

Makhado Ward 38: 86.67%

Mookgopong Ward 02: 61.45%

As the enduring political party of choice in Limpopo, the ANC congratulates all councillors for their unwavering commitment to our communities. The ANC further urges new and existing councillors to work together in pursuit of service delivery excellence in all ANC wards in service to our people.
