NEC to discipline Stella Ndabeni for submitting affidavit in support of Masoga
ANC YOUTH LEAGUE NATIONAL EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE STATEMENT

The African National Congress Youth League in its Special sitting of the National Executive Committee considered the following issues:
Preparation for the Provincial Congresses
Limpopo
The National Executive Committee reaffirmed its decision to confirm and recognise the leadership elected at the Makhado Congress.

The ANCYL NEC took strong exception to members of the Youth League who choose not to follow and exhaust internal processes and choose to use courts as forms of relief. The NEC wishes to remind its members of the ANC 52ND National Conference Resolution in relation to dealing with internal organisational matters and the termination of the membership immediately.
The NEC of the Youth League resolved that any member of the Youth League who takes the Youth League to court will be related to in accordance to the ANC 52nd National Conference Resolution. The NEC received a report on the conduct of Cde Stella Ndabeni who was a sitting NWC member but submitted a sworn affidavit against the ANCYL in the court matter of Lehlogonolo Masoga. The NEC considered this action to display highest levels of ill discipline and is tantamount to anti-party behaviour. The NEC expressed the breach of trust and confidence by Cde Stella Ndabeni.
The NEC resolved to:
Pass a vote of no confidence in Cde Stella
To institute disciplinary actions against Cde Stella in relation to her membership of the ANCYL.
Eastern Cape

The NEC received a report on the adjourned congress of the ANCYL in the Eastern Cape and the subsequent challenges that led to the inability of the Congress to conclude.
The NEC resolved:
1. To disband the PEC of the Eastern Cape
2. To Convene and conclude the Provincial Congress on the 30th July - 1 August in Grahamstown

3. Any member of the Youth League who is found preventing another member to attend this Congress will face disciplinary action
4. Registration will start Friday the 30th July at 8:00am at Noluthando Community Hall till 12:00 midnight.
5. Congress will proceed on Saturday with duely accredited delegates present at the Congress
6. The NEC instructed the NWC to pursue the appeal against the Grahamstown judgement.

The NEC will be presiding over the following Provincial Congresses
North West and Mpumalanga on the 30th July - 1st August
Free State and Gauteng on the 6th - 9th August
National General Council
The National General Council of the ANC Youth League will happen between the 24th and 27th of August 2010 in Gallagher Estate, Midrand in Gauteng Province. Delegates to the National General Council will arrive and be registered for the NGC on the 23rd of August 2010.

The ANC Youth League discussion documents will be released to all branches of the ANC Youth League on Thursday, the 29th of July 2010 and posted on the ANC Youth League official website on Friday the 30th of July 2010.
Conclusion
The National Executive Committee and National Working Committee is 100% content with preparations for the National General Council and readiness of ANC YL branches, regions and Provinces to positively impact on building the organisation.
