ANC condemns careless statements made by its PEC member, Andile Lili

The ANC condemns the careless statements made by its PEC member, Andile Lili against the Chairperson of the ANC, Cde Marius Fransman and its spokesperson, Cde Jabu Mfusi on Monday (see report).

The ANC has the best and fair internal processes to deal with any matter relating to its leaders and Lili, as a leader in the highest structure in the Province has been a direct beneficiary of these processes and such processes will be no different with any other leader.

There is therefore no need for Lili to go outside these processes, and single out or insult his fellow leaders. The ANC as an organisation is the sole decider on the outcomes of any internal processes.

As the ANC we ask Lili to refrain from commenting on matters currently underway inside the ANC processes. If he has any matters that he would like to raise, he has access to all ANC structures, and he himself belongs to a very senior structure which infact collectively takes decisions which Cde Mfusi is bound to communicate.

The ANC would like to further call on all its members in the province to conduct themselves in line with ANC policies on all forms of Media, particularly social Media!
