Israel expropriates 400 hectares in West Bank - EFF

Fighters say an Israel steeped in its Zionist apartheid racism is seeking to erase Palestine from the face of the earth

EFF condemns Israel's move to expropriate 400 hectares of palestinian land in the west bank

Economic Freedom Fighters condemns the decision by Israel to expropriate 400 hectares of Palestinian Land in the West Bank. The Defence Ministry yesterday declared the area south of the West Bank city of Bethlehem a state land, which will be followed by construction of settlement for Israelis.

The EFF views this as part of the colonial expansionist program of Israel which is steeped in its apartheid racism named Zionism. Israel, committed to a Zionist project, seeks to annihilate Palestine from the face of the earth, for the creation of an exclusive Jewish state, to the expulsion of Arab Palestinians.

This latest expropriation is indeed comparable to all the land grabs by the apartheid government in South Africa that led to homelessness on the part of Africans. It is also in violation of international law since Palestine is a recognised state by the United Nations, but above all it is proof that Israel is a colonial-apartheid state.

Israel makes this move a few days after it terrorised the Palestinians in Gaza and when the world has asked for a peaceful solution. It shows that Israel is not interested in coexisting, neither is it interested in a lasting peace.

Economic Freedom Fighters calls on all government of the world, staring with South Africa, to isolate Israel internationally through boycotts, disinvestment and sanctions until Israel disengages from its criminal colonial expansionist program. Israel must end its illegal military occupation of the West Bank with immediate effect, destroy the apartheid wall, and recognise the right of Palestinian refugees to return to their homes.

Boycotts are the most peaceful form of solidarity the world can show that will have material impact on Israeli aggression. Israel will never stop its colonial apartheid project until the world engages in boycotts and sanctions. Otherwise, relations left as they are, means all countries indirectly promote and fund the actions of Israel.

Palestinians have called on the world to show solidarity through boycotts, and if Israel values its relations with the rest of the free world, it must comply with international law or face isolation.
