MALEMA IS RIGHT ABOUT BARA, BUT IS A POOR ROLE MODEL
Economic Freedom Fighter Leader Julius Malema makes a valid point about the poor treatment that Nelson Mandela would receive at the Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital (see report).
It is sadly true that Mandela would not receive the best care at this hospital which is plagued by mismanagement.
Mandela is being treated at a private hospital because the military hospital which would usually care for him is also mismanaged and short of resources.
Malema is right about poor care at Bara, but he himself is a poor role model because he failed to pay R16 million in taxes and faces serious corruption charges.
State hospitals will only improve if money is spent properly without waste and corruption.
