National Director of Public Prosecutions Enquiry established

President Jacob Zuma has, in terms of section 12 (6) of the National Prosecuting Authority Act, 1998 (Act 38 of 1998), established an enquiry to determine the fitness of Mr Mxolisi Nxasana to hold office as National Director of Public Prosecutions.  

President Zuma has appointed Advocate Nazeer Cassim as the Chairperson of the enquiry.  Advocate Lindi Nkosi-Thomas and Advocate Sthembiso Mdladla have been appointed as additional members.

The terms of reference will be published in the Government Gazette tomorrow, 06 February 2015.
