Another pedestrian , lethargic , temperamental and fact free tirade from Mr Vavi and his friends

The Congress of South African Trade Unions has noted the statements made by Zwelinzima Vavi and some union leaders about the federation in their press briefing. We want to remind them that, what can be asserted without evidence can also be dismissed without evidence.

The federation is too busy dealing with the retrenchments of workers and also campaigning and pushing for the introduction of the minimum wage, to engage in futile discourse. We will wait until our accusers say something new and also learn to elevate the civility of the public discourse by producing evidence to back up their wild claims.
