‘Shoot the Boer' sung, and three farmers now dead - FF+

Anton Alberts says Malema created an atmosphere morally permissive of farm attacks

MALEMA CREATES ATMOSPHERE FOR MURDER ON FARMERS

Three farm murders had taken place this past weekend. The previous weekend two farmers were killed in cold blood. These murders come directly after the song "Kill the Boers, they are rapists" was sung by Julius Malema last week at a meeting at the University of Johannesburg .

"No deep thoughts are needed to realize that Malema's comments are creating an atmosphere which is conducive for those who want to commit murder. As an influential youth leader he creates an atmosphere in which reckless thoughts and actions flourish. In this regard he is an accessory to the wiping out of farmers in South Africa ," Adv. Anton Alberts, FF Plus parliamentary spokesperson on Economic Development reacted to the latest developments.

"Against this background, the FF Plus welcomes it that Malema was today found guilty of hate speech with regards to comments he made about women. Where the leader of the FF Plus, Dr. Pieter Mulder, had laid a charge of hate speech against Malema with the police, the party believes that Malema will also have to account for his singing of songs and the propagating of violence against the farming community. He should be prosecuted and also found guilty on this," Alberts added.

The FF Plus therefore is taking the following steps:

· The Federal Executive Management of the party had last Friday formally gave its support to Landbouweekblad // Landbou.com's Farm Murder Petition and will call on its supporters to support this good initiative. The party also expressed its gratitude toward this magazine for the initiative and for the invitation to participate in it;

· In the mean time, Adv. Alberts is preparing a report on farm murders and Malema's role in it to be handed to the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights;

· The party will also investigate the possibility to lay charges against Malema at the International Criminal Court, or in the least make the court aware of a growing phenomenon of the victimization of minorities and specifically the Afrikaner in South Africa which could escalate to international crimes.

The FF Plus views the actions of Malema and the ANC' excuses for them in a very serious light. The FF Plus will do its part in the political and legal field to stop this evil. The farming community will however also have to organize itself and arm themselves in order to defend themselves. Lastly, the farming community will have to be seen protesting against the murders and the lack of a commando system. Afrikaners should learn to toyi-toyi.
