CWU SUPPORT ACTING COO MR HLAUDI MOTSHOANENG

The Communication Workers Union has noted bourgeois media reports which are connived with Democratic Alliance (DA) that the newly appointed acting Chief Operating Officer (COO), Mr Hlaudi Motshoeneng does not have matric.

CWU stand firm and continue to support his appointment. Mr Motshoeneng has been at the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) for more than fourteen years. He is one of the hardworking, dedicated and decisive people at the SABC. It was for the first time in the history of the SABC to sort out housing allowance and salary negotiations in a supersonic speed under his leadership.

If it was a white male person in that position without matric, the rented DA will not question his appointment. Because is a black person and is Mr Motshoeneng is a political appointment by President Zuma without mentioning his experience and good skills that he possesses within SABC. CWU is more than happy with the appointment of Mr Motshoeneng as acting COO.
