Mkhulu Tembe (44) has lost his wife, his confidence and soon he may lose half the fortune he took years to build up. "I used to hear about evil Ben 10s who steal people's wives but I never thought a Ben 10 would take my wife from me," said Mkhulu. "I'm shattered. My wife is divorcing me for a younger man and together they will eat the money that I worked so hard for."
Mkhulu and his wife, Monica Tembe (40) are married in community of property. The divorce will be finalised in the Durban regional court on 21 June. Mkhulu said he felt sorry for Snowy Rakganyane (28) from Lesotho and let him move in with them. "He was supposed to help around the house in exchange for a very comfortable lifestyle and food, but he introduced my wife to social networking and turned her against me," he said.
"I hate Facebook and Twitter. That's why my wife fell in love with this Ben 10, Snowy," said Mkhulu. He discovered in March 2011 that Monica was sleeping with Snowy! "I couldn't believe it. He is too young to sleep with my wife!" he said.
Mkhulu lives in a R2 million home in Hillcrest, Durban, KZN. He and Monica got married in 2000 and they were very happy - until he took pity on Snowy. "He introduced my wife to social networking and she said I was old-fashioned. Now I stand to lose half of my assets," said Mkhulu.
Mkhulu owns Mkhulu Taverns, Mkhulu Construction, Mkhulu Tree Felling and Mkhulu General Dealers - but he has no wife! ...
