Daily Sun (February 21 2014) - ON WEDNESDAY, the mutilated bodies of two teenage girls were found in the veld. Yesterday two schoolboys were arrested for the murders, described as a Satanic ritual. COPS HAVE DUG UP ANIMAL BONES AND DANGEROUS WEAPONS AT A HOUSE NOT FAR FROM THE MURDER SCENE.
Police spokesman Kay Makhubela said: "The inquiry was opened based on suspicion of Satanism and to see if any bodies were buried behind the house."
He said the police K9 unit yesterday dug behind the house and found animal bones believed to be those of a dog, as well as an axe and a dagger.
He made it clear that no body parts or human bones were found. This house, and the house where one of the dead girls lived with her mother, are in the same street in Dobsonville, Soweto.
But so far cops are insisting the two investigations are not linked.
Two 16-year-old schoolboys have been arrested for the murder of Thandeka Moganetsi (15) and Chwaita Rathazayo (16).
