Daily Sun (November 25 2013) - THE TERRIFIED boys ran to their mothers, shouting that their four-year-old friend was being raped. The women followed their children to where the teenager was still raping the boy. HE WAS LUCKY TO ESCAPE WITH HIS LIFE AS FURIOUS WOMEN CHASED HIM NAKED DOWN THE STREET.

"How will my child ever recover from this?" asked the angry mother. What if he infected my child with a deadly disease?"

The boys, most of them little more than toddlers, were playing soccer on Thursday when the teenager allegedly grabbed one of the boys and raped him in full view of his friends. He then dragged the four-year-old into a dilapidated community hall where he continued to rape him.

It is alleged that the victim's young friends could not get the teenager to stop.

The young boys told their parents and angry residents, led by the mother of the victim, went to the scene where they found the suspect with his pants down, raping the child.

The community started beating him with brooms, belts and sticks, planning to teach him a lesson before taking him to Itsoseng Police Station near Lichtenburg, North West.

He managed to escape and ran naked into the Itsoseng Magistrates Court, where cops and security guards grabbed him and took him into custody. They covered him with a plastic rubbish bag.

Residents told the People's Paper they were tired of rapists in their area.

"We have threatened before to take the law into our own hands if justice isn't done. We are running out of patience," said Jacob Monageng (38).

"Our justice system is failing us and we are sick of it!"

Resident Kelebogile Diseko (30) said they will administer justice in their our own way.

"We want to teach those taking advantage of our women and children a lesson they will never forget," said Kelebogile.

"It seems the only way to get cops' attention is to take the law into our own hands. Rapists and criminals are roaming the streets and nothing is being done about them."

The victim's mother told Daily Sun: "I wanted to slice off his 4-5 before I killed him with my bare hands. He must rot in jail for what he did to my son. I will never forgive him."

North West provincial police spokesman, Sergeant Kealeboga Moiloa, confirmed that a case of rape has been opened and the teenager is expected to appear in court soon.

"The suspect is under age and his identity and age will be withheld as required by law. He was taken to hospital for injuries sustained before his arrest," said Moiloa.

"The suspect also has a case pending for the rape of a 72-year- old woman."
