"Saved from my She-Devil!" - Daily Sun

The front page and lead story of SA's largest daily newspaper, February 14 2014

Daily Sun (February 14 2014) - THERE is a smile of salvation on the face of Sewele Ndlovu today! The teenager from Limpopo made headlines in Daily Sun yesterday when he claimed he was on a mission to kill his father after he dreamt of a woman devil. BUT NOW IT SEEMS THE POWER OF PRAYER HAS CAST OUT SEWELE'S SHE-DEVIL! And Sewele (16), of Maluleke Village, is back to his old self - vowing he would NEVER kill his father!

Clutching the Bible, the teenager told Daily Sun: "I love my father and would not harm him. Besides, who would look after me if I killed him?" Daily Sun revealed the boy's bizarre daily rituals with chicken heads and feet, sticks, candles, bricks and bottles of muthi. Part of the ritual was defacing a picture of his dad. Sewele told us he had dreams in which the she-devil - who called herself Lucifer - had told him he must kill his father to get rich.

After hearing of the boy's possession by the evil spirit, Pastor Gezani Maluleke of God Is Love Ministry visited Sewele and his family.

Maluleke told Daily Sun: "I have prayed for the young boy and cast out the evil spirit from him. "I have also burnt all the stuff we found in his possession. He's now delivered and free to live a new life. But we will monitor him and continue to offer him support in prayer whenever there's a need to do so."

He advised Sewele to go to church to make sure the evil woman does not return. After the pastor's prayers, Sewele couldn't contain his joy. He said: "I'm grateful to pastor Gezani and his church members for praying for me.

"I feel very light now, unlike before when my body was heavy.

"Now my new mission is to be a pastor myself so that I can fight back the evil spirit that made me want to kill my father for no apparent reason."

Sewele's family was also happy about the latest developments.

His uncle, Samuel Ndlovu (56), said: "I'm over the moon that the pastor has prayed for our boy.

"You can see Sewele is like a brand-new person. Look at his radiant face. It's a clear indication that he's free from evil spirits," said Samuel.

"I'm thankful to all church members and the community as a whole."

Sewele's father lives in Joburg.

Daily Sun has been unable to contact him.
