ANC KZN concerned about the ANCYL stant to discuss leadership issues in the media

The ANCKZN has noted statements relating to the future leadership of the ANC NEC which are attributed to the ANCYL provincial leadership.

The ANC NEC has not opened a discussion on the next leadership of the organisation. We therefore call upon the ANCYL not to start a premature leadership process until the ANC NEC officially opens that process.

The ANC Provincial Officials will be meeting with the ANCYL to discuss the potential damage that their statement has on the movement.

It is our considered view that discussing leadership issues through the media is inappropriate and has a huge potential in undermining the unity of the organisation.
