Daily Sun (March 14 2013) - IN HER short life little Bonolo Bahle knew only illness and death. She had a caring mother, but saw her father only once. AND WHEN SHE DIED, ONLY HER MOTHER WAS AT HER SIDE! This is the accusation laid at the door of well-known Supersport TV commentator Baba Mthethwa by Bonolo's mother, Anna Lethoko, from Senekal in the Free State.

She claims Baba, who is from Welkom, fathered Bonolo in an affair starting in 2006. The child was born in 2008. Baba - known for his slogan Ho thata banna (it's rough) - told Daily Sun there was "no proof" he was Bonolo's dad. Still grieving over Bonolo's death, Anna told Daily Sun that after the child was born, Baba said he would send his family over to discuss damages, but it never happened.
