(1) Whether any staff members of his department are currently on suspension or special leave; if so (a) how many, (b) in what positions are they, (c) why are they suspended or on special leave, (d) when were they suspended or put on special leave and (e) what is the time frame for each case to be finalised;

THE MINISTER OF RURAL DEVELOPMENT AND LAND REFORM:
(1) Yes.
(a) Six employees are on special leave and eight employees are on suspension as indicated in the table below. It should be noted that the timeframes for finalisation of cases where disciplinary hearings are ongoing do not factor postponements.
