VBS: ANC government set the example of fraud and corruption
Thievery, like what transpired at VBS Mutual Bank, is a crime and a sin and all the ANC has to say about it is that it should never have happened. What actually should never have happened is that the ANC should never have come into power in South Africa.
The reason for this is that the ANC has set the example of fraud and corruption as well as how to steal tax payers' money. VBS merely followed that example and consequently even the poor were robbed.
The hero in the VBS saga is an Afrikaans-speaking white woman named Mariette Venter, the acting financial manager of the Capricorn District Municipality in Limpopo. She refused that R60 million be transferred from the municipality to VBS.
Then the municipality accused her of being a racist because she apparently did not want to invest money in a black bank as she is a white woman. The fact that a white person was denounced as a racist for no reason just because she is a law-abiding citizen is also an accusation against the general South African community.
The FF Plus takes its hat off to people like Ms Venter and the tax payers of her municipality also owe her a thank you.
