Nelson Mandela Bay political parties to sign new multi-party coalition agreement

On Thursday, 28th July, at 11h15, leaders of the Democratic Alliance, Freedom Front Plus, African Christian Democratic Party, African Independent Congress, Abantu Integrity Movement Pan Africanist Congress, and the United Democratic Movement will come together to sign a historic coalition agreement for a new multi-party government in Nelson Mandela Bay.

The coalition agreement is a culmination of almost four months of talks and negotiations to form a new government in the metro. Extensive time was spent on discussing a shared set of values, principles, commitments, objectives, and priorities that will serve as the fundamental structures of the new coalition.

The parties will present the coalition agreement as well as the composition of the incoming government.
