With reference to the 2009 Cabinet expansion and the resulting appointment of additional Ministers and Deputy Ministers, (a) how many houses did her department purchase in order to provide accommodation to these Ministers and Deputy Ministers, (b) in which specified areas have these houses been purchased and (c) what was the total purchase price in rand of each specified house purchased? (a) 15 houses were purchased by the Department since 2009 to date

(b) In Waterkloof and Moreleta (Pretoria East)

(c) The total amount for all purchased properties is R 68 195 116.

CAPE TOWN

(a) 19 houses were purchased by the Department since 2009 to date

(b) In Cape Town

(c) The total amount for all purchased properties is R 115 691 721
