JOHANNESBURG - Aliraza Syed Naqvi the Pakistan national suspected of involvement in a R51m fraud against the South African Revenue Service was able to acquire a series of fraudulent South African passports and identity documents. Copies were included with his affidavit in support of his bail application. They provide a stunning visual example of the ease with which fraudulent SA documents can be acquired from corrupt officials within home affairs. Examples follow below:
