"Less booze more sex!" – Daily Sun

"Bishop’s advice to keep lovers faithful . . ." – front page lead, June 5 2015

Daily Sun (June 5 2015) - ALL men love sex – and so do their women. But many men aren’t getting any.

THAT’S BECAUSE THEY’RE MAKING A BIG MISTAKE, SAID THE MAN OF GOD.

You can get more sex, he said to the men attending an interfaith gathering, but only if you stop your boozing!

“You cannot expect to have a happy woman when you come home drunk every night,” Archbishop Phineas Motshoare told men at the recent summit in Giyani, Limpopo.

“Stay put at home. Women will stray if their partners do not satisfy them sexually,” warned Motshoare.

The National Interfaith Council archbishop went on with his fiery speech: “Another problem is that men often neglect their women, having affairs on the side but still coming home drunk,” he said at the summit.

The gathering was aimed at tackling issues related to families, sexual abuse, rape and alcohol and substance abuse.

The issue of women cheating on their husbands, which sometimes ended in their murder, was also discussed.

Speaking on behalf of traditional leaders, Giyani Traditional Healers chairman Kholichi Makhubele echoed the archbishop’s words.

“You have men going to traditional healers and prophets in search of potions to protect their families from splitting.

“They forget they are the main problem.

“If a woman finds someone who can make her reach an orgasm six times, she will never come back to you, even if you are using muthi to prevent her from cheating,” he said.

Acting mayor Abraham Manganyi said the aim of the summit was to unite men and make them speak with one voice against the abuse of women and children.

“We understand this abuse doesn’t only happen to women and children.

“Men suffer from abuse as well, but seeing that men are the main abusers, we felt if we could get them to behave better we would improve society,” he said. – AENS
