"House that greed built!" - Daily Sun

Daily Sun (3 September 2015 ) - CHRISTINAH Motaung couldn’t wait for her dream house.

So she stole from her mashonisa boss.

BUT THE GREEDY THIEF WAS CAUGHT OUT!

Now she has lost the unfinished fancy four-roomed house. And she and her four kids are stuck in a shack with no toilet, water and electricity.

Christinah (55) got a one-roomed house in Slovoville, near Tshwane’s Mabopane, in 1997. She began extending it this February, with cash she stole from her boss, Sesi Sangwenyi. Today, Christinah is crying bitter tears. But Sesi said she got what she deserved.

"I trusted her and she stole from me. Now she and her children must suffer!” Sesi wants her cash back – more than R160 000!

Christinah’s kids admitted she was greedy, but said they still didn’t want to lose the house. Christinah claimed she didn’t know what got into her.

But she’s begging Sesi to let her pay the money back so she can keep the house. Christinah began working for Sesi as a domestic worker in 2012.

When she found out her boss kept a lot of cash at home she began to steal. Her dream house was nearly complete when Sesi found out cash was missing and opened a case. The court ordered Christinah to sell the house and pay back the money. Despite the greedy stealing, Christinah’s daughter Portia said: “I know what the court said, but we can’t let this happen.” No ways, said Sesi. “She must leave me alone before I get angry!"
