"Sugar Mama stole my man!" - Daily Sun

The front page and lead story of SA's largest daily newspaper, December 24 2013

Daily Sun (December 24 2013) - NOMONDE Mabanga was excited that her lover planned to buy his neighbour's car.

She could just see herself in the smart charcoal-grey VW Polo.

BUT THE TEST DRIVE BROUGHT HER HEARTBREAK.

Nomonde (29) claims the car owner - an older woman - stole her boyfriend Nicholas Sebotho (30) to be her Ben 10!

Today, Nomonde is sad and lonely after losing her man of three years to the woman, who is a school principal.

Nomonde said the woman is old enough to be her boyfriend's auntie. She claimed the woman has given truck driver Nicholas the car to use instead of selling it to him.

"She's so desperate to have him she gave my boyfriend her car! It was so hurtful I decided to leave the relationship so this woman could have him." They are deeply in love," said Nomonde, whose mum is a pastor.

But even though she gave Nicholas up, she claims the principal is using friends to threaten her with SMSes.

Nomonde showed Daily Sun one of the SMSes, which reads: "Your worst nightmare is about to start."

She said that when she got the SMS she dialled the sender's number.

"The phone was answered by a woman who told me to stop harassing her friend, meaning the principal," Nomonde said.

"She's old and fighting for a man who is far much younger than her. Why can't she get someone her age?"

Daily Sun visited the principal, Dineo Tsotetsi, at her home in Roodekop near Alberton, Ekurhuleni, to get her side of the story. Dineo admitted she was having an affair with Nicholas, but wouldn't reveal her age.

"That woman is the one threatening me with SMSes. I have applied (to the police) for a peace letter against her to stop her harassing me," said Dineo.

Dineo said it was harassment for Nomonde to go to Daily Sun, and she would report this to the police.

"She must admit that her boyfriend dumped her for me," she said.

Asked if she gave Nicholas a car, Dineo said: "I'm not rich to bribe him with my car."Asked about his affair with Dineo, Nicholas said: "Nomonde used to be my girlfriend. The fight between me and her started when I test-drove Dineo's car. She was insecure, but I have since left her (Nomonde)."
