Daily Sun (September 23 2013) - THREE children argued over their dead mother's money . . .And within a week, all three were dead . . .
THEY ALL KILLED THEMSELVES!
Sad father Stout Pheto told Daily Sun: "It hurts as a parent to bury your kids but I had to bury three of my kids in one day."
On Thursday, 12 September, the three siblings had an argument about their late mother's money.
The two brothers were questioning Moipone Pheto (22) about where she got the money for the fancy life she lived.
That evening, Moipone drank poison and was rushed to hospital, where she later died.
Even as the family was still mourning her passing, her older brother Molefi (25) drank poison and died on Sunday evening!
The last blow was when their brother, Tumelo, committed suicide on Tuesday evening!
Stout told Daily Sun: "I was in my bedroom when Molefi came and told me that Moipone had died. He said he hated her because she had betrayed them.
"On Sunday, Molefi packed up his belongings and said he was going to my parents' house.
"I was shocked to get a call saying Molefi had killed himself.
"I was still mourning the death of my two kids when Moipone's twin brother Tumelo killed himself on Tuesday.
"In the weeks leading to the suicides we found an affidavit that Moipone had forged, pretending to be Molefi.
"I think that Moipone got all the money from the pension fund and that's how she was able to buy a townhouse and cars.
"I think Molefi felt guilty that Moipone had killed herself after their argument and that is why he also took his life, and Tumelo followed him."
Moipone and Tumelo were buried in the same grave and Molefi was buried next to them.
Struggle songs were sung at the graveside and the ANCYL wore shirts on which was printed, "Death be not Proud" as Moipone was the secretary for the ANCYL in her area.
