The front page and lead story of SA's largest daily newspaper, June 27 2013

Daily Sun (June 27 2013) - EVERY night Masego Moduka lights a candle and prays for Madiba. The Father of the Nation and the little girl were both born on 18 July, he in 1918, she in 2005. SHE HOPES THAT HE TOO, WILL CELEBRATE HIS BIRTHDAY IN THE LOVING ARMS OF HIS FAMILY.

"Masego is happy to share a birthday with Madiba," said her aunt Khumo Kaibe (40). "Masego started praying for Madiba from the day he was taken to hospital." Masego's mum, Boitumelo Moduka (39) from Phahameng kasi in Mangaung, said Madiba turned 87 when Masego was born.

"The nurses in Pelonomi Hospital told the new mothers their children shared a birthday with a very special man," she said. Masego said she wants to become a doctor one day to help people who are not well, but for now she prays: Dear God, please make Madiba strong and save him to celebrate his birthday with his family, Mzansi and the world.
