"Pee of death!" - Daily Sun

"Tshidiso had to relieve himself - and now his mum is dead!" - front page lead, November 14 2014

Daily Sun (November 14 2014) - WHEN TSHIDISO peed against a fence next to the road he knew it was wrong. But he couldn't hold it in so he did it anyway.

HE NEVER EXPECTED THAT IT WOULD COST HIS MOTHER HER LIFE!

Tshidiso Tsiloane (27) said he expected trouble when a taxi stopped next to him on Sunday and the driver and three men got out.

"The men seemed drunk. They asked me why I was peeing there and they accused me of being disrespectful," he said.

Tshidiso said he asked them who they were and an argument started.

"Then one of them pulled out a gun and pointed it at my 4-5. He threatened to shoot it."

Tshidiso put his penis back in his trousers and ran as fast as his legs could carry him.

He threw himself into his house in Rietvallei near Kagiso, Mogale City, Gauteng.

But the men had followed him and started banging on the door.

"My mother opened the door and they told her they were looking for me," said Tshidiso.

"She asked them what they wanted and they said they wanted to teach me a lesson."

Then the man with the gun started shooting.

"My mother fell to the ground. My friend was shot in the foot," he said.

"The men jumped in the taxi and drove away."

Tshidiso's mother, Alina (49), had been shot in the chest. Yvonne Msimanga, Tshidiso's younger sister, was lucky to escape injury.

"It was chaos and residents tried to revive my mother. We called the ambulance but by the time it arrived, she was already dead," Tshidiso said.

His friend was rushed to hospital and survived.

One suspect was arrested after the community traced them and is facing a murder charge. The cops are looking for three other suspects.

The family said they don't know who the men are.

Warrant Officer Solomon Sibiya said that using information from the public, they were able to arrest a 27-year-old suspect.

He made a brief appearance on Monday facing murder charges and was kept in custody for further police investigation.

"We appeal to anyone who has information to contact us," said Sibiya.
