Daily Sun (August 21 2013) - LOUD music booming from the hi-fi, vodka in the kitchen and condoms on the floor . . .Bunking school kids bonking in the toilet and partying in every room... THIS IS WHAT COPS FOUND AT THE HOUSE OF BOOZE YESTERDAY!

The teenage boys and girls were bust after angry neighbours called cops to deal with the out-of-control kids yesterday. Instead of being at school, the pupils, aged between 13 and 18, threw a pre-matric party at the house in zone 6, Pimville, Soweto.

The notorious double-storey building is across the road from Khandubuhle Primary School. When the couple who owned the house died they left the place to their son, who still lives in the house with his 18-year-old nephew.

But the moment his uncle's car goes around the corner, the boy throws open the door and the party begins . . . According to Nhlanhla Nkosi, who works at the school across the road, the group arrived in a Toyota Quantum, a VW Caravel and two private cars.

She said it was for the fourth time she has seen kids holding a party at the house during school hours. "The owners of this house were respectable people and their house does not need to be turned into a whorehouse," she said.

The kids are from Nirvana Secondary School, MH Joosub High School and Trinity Secondary School in Lenasia. The SunTeam arrived at the same time as cops from the Kliptown police but the house was locked. Loud music and screams of joy could be heard but police knocking went unanswered for a long time.

Then the music suddenly went dead, a commotion could be heard in the house and the young host came to the door. He tried to stop the cops but they forced their way into the house to find kids running in all directions, trying to hide.

In the kitchen a bottle of Smirnoff vodka and cans of Smirnoff Storms were found. An empty packet of condoms and one unused condom was lying on the floor. Police had to drag several kids from the bedroom, while a boy and a girl were found in a toilet with their trousers unzipped. Some of the kids looked really frightened.

"We were told it was a party to celebrate leaving school at the end of the year," they told Daily Sun.

The host said the party was a baby shower for one of his friends who was having a baby. "Other people arrived and things got out of hand," he said. "I could not chase them away." When cops told him they were arresting all of them, he became arrogant, saying it was his choice to bunk school and there was nothing they could do.

In the end, 22 boys and 26 girls were taken to the Kliptown Police Station. The arrogant young host left the house in handcuffs. Police spokesman Captain Philemon Khorombi, said the kids were taken to the police station and their parents called. "They were reprimanded and released into the care of their parents," he said.

Gauteng Department of Education spokesman Gershwin Chuenyane said they will investigate the absence of the students from school, and co-operate with any police investigation.
