ANC ruined its own chances in the Western Cape - ANC chairperson

Western Cape - If it wasn't for the ANC's internal troubles in the Western Cape, the party would have made a clean sweep in the province over the Democratic Alliance, acting African National Congress chairperson in the Western Cape Dipuo Letsie-Dube said on Thursday.
Infighting "overwhelmed" the party for a while but that has now settled and the campaigning is going well, she said on the side-lines of a visit to Silvertown, Paarl, by ANC deputy president Cyril Ramaphosa.
"Had we had a proper strategy, I'm telling you, we would have surprised the DA," she said.
"They are at their weakest."
