"Poor mum's heartache!" - Daily Sun

The front page and lead story of SA's largest daily newspaper, April 8 2013

Daily Sun (April 8) - THERE was no water, so the mum and her little girl went to fetch some . . . That was the last thing they did together. A SPEEDING VAN KILLED NOKUTHULA RADEBE (4) ON FRIDAY! Nomqibelo Radebe (36) wept as she looked at Nokuthula's broken body in the street. "I blame myself for taking her with me," she cried. The tragedy happened at Magagula Heights, near Zonke Izizwe in Ekurhuleni on Friday. "My daughter is gone," said Nomqibelo. "I will never see her again." Residents said work being done on pipes had left ikasi without water since last Tuesday. So they had to walk up to 3km to fetch water from the nearby extension.
