Pyrite is fool's gold: A call to true liberation

Mzwanele Manyi says MK Party stands resolute as the last hope for South Africans seeking genuine liberation

The people of South Africa have been deceived for far too long. An organisation, once trusted as a revolutionary force, has since revealed itself to be nothing more than fool's gold—a glittering illusion masking betrayal and the advancement of a neoliberal agenda in disguise.

Under the pretence of serving the people, this organization has actively undermined progress and clandestinely aligned itself with the very forces it once vowed to fight. It has worked tirelessly to discredit progressive leaders like H.E President Zuma and others inside and outside his circle who sought to challenge neoliberal exploitation and advocate for decolonisation.

Instead of standing with the people, it has worked surreptitiously to secure the interests of the establishment while pacifying genuine voices of resistance and thus delayed the revolution.

During the pandemic, this same organisation eagerly promoted vaccines that have since been revealed to fall short of their immunity-boosting claims. Far from prioritising public health, it became a willing tool of global pharmaceutical conglomerates, advancing profit-driven agendas while ignoring the concerns of ordinary citizens.

In fact, these vaccines have been proven to be more toxic and causing more deaths than Covid itself. This organisation provided no cover for those who lost their jobs for their defiance of this vaccine.

Its betrayal deepened during elections, where, despite evidence of vote rigging, it rushed to declare the process free and fair—long before the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) could finalise the results. This reckless endorsement was not an act of integrity but a calculated move to legitimize a rigged system and silence a disillusioned electorate.

On the critical issue of illegal foreign nationals, this organisation's dismissive stance has emboldened entitlement and arrogance among these groups while silencing the frustrations of South African citizens. It has failed to address the real concerns of communities, choosing instead to protect in a disguised manner its neoliberal allies and perpetuate the suffering of the masses.

This is not the behaviour of a revolutionary movement. This is the conduct of an organisation that has betrayed its founding principles, abandoning the people it claims to serve while advancing neoliberal agendas in disguise.

The MK Party: A True Home for the People

Amid this betrayal, the MK Party stands resolute as the last hope for South Africans seeking genuine liberation. Unlike the former liberation movement or the other fake revolutionary organisation, the MK Party does not hide behind false radicalism or serve the interests of global capital.

We are a movement of the people, for the people, and by the people—uncompromising in our pursuit of justice, economic emancipation, and true sovereignty. Seeking a sovereign parliament is indeed a very well-considered and thought through objective.

We call on all South Africans to see through the illusion of fool's gold and reject the empty promises of the pretenders who perpetuate neoliberal oppression. The MK Party offers a real alternative: leadership that listens, acts, and delivers. United under the banner of the MK Party, we can reclaim the promise of liberation and build a South Africa that truly belongs to all its rightful owners.

The time for real change is now. Join the MK Party and be part of a decent movement that prioritises the people over profit, sovereignty over submission, and action over empty rhetoric.
