YCLSA extends good wishes to the Hindu community in South Africa

The Young Communist League of South Africa [uFasimba] at this time of great festivity and celebration, wishes all Hindus in the South African Communist Party [SACP], YCLSA, Mass Democratic Movement [MDM] and across South Africa a blessed Diwali.

The celebration of Diwali in South Africa is a reflection of our diverse and vibrant democratic society and the strong ties between South Africa and the Indian subcontinent.

As the YCL we are committed to the ideals of equality and justice for all in South Africa and globally. Diwali is a potent reminder of the need to commemorate the advancement of these ideals as a way of ensuring goodness in our societies.

We join all those observing Diwali in seeking prosperity for all and celebrating this joyous occasion with friends, family and the wider South African society.

Indeed we are united in our diversity.
