ANC engagement with the South African Jewish Board of Deputies

Today the African National Congress (ANC) engaged in a robust, and frank dialogue with the South African Jewish Board of Deputies (SAJBD) on the current devastating developments in Gaza, and Israel as well as decades of long struggles for the Freedom of Palestine.

The ANC reiterated its full support for long lasting peace, and the liberation of the Palestinian people.

The engagement With the SAJBD is aligned With the ANC's approach of consulting broadly and advocating for a just. peaceful. and humane world. Other engagements are intended to take place with various key role players like religious groups and civil society formations that continue to play a meaningful role in matters related to the conflict between Israel and Palestine.
