ANC GAUTENG WELCOMES THE LEGISLATURE INTEGRITY COMMISSIONER'S REPORT

The ANC Gauteng welcomes the legislature Integrity Commissioner report on Cde Humphrey Mmemezi the former MEC for Local government and Housing. The ANC supports the sanction imposed by the legislature Privileges and Ethics Committee (see Business Day report).

The report is appreciated to ensure that all members of the legislature observe the highest standards of conduct as the ANC strives to preserve its decorum in the public life. The report will play a crucial role in maintaining the public confidence in the institutions of the state and ensuring that codes of behaviour and ethics are adhered by all to ensure service to the people.
