Party says it doesn't want businesses in Joburg CBD to suffer further disruptions

ANC MOVES NDC HEARING TO ANOTHER VENUE DUE TO ADVERSE IMPLICATIONS ON BUSINESS

The African National Congress (ANC) has this afternoon (30 August 2011) decided to move the venue of the National Disciplinary Committee (NDC) hearings concerning comrade Julius Malema and others away from ANC headquarters , Chief Albert Luthuli House, due to the negative impact the process has had on ordinary South Africans and businesses  in Johannesburg's CBD.

We regret and would also like to apologies for today's closure of many businesses - including banking institutions - situated closer to ANC headquarters. We also regret any inconvenience suffered by ordinary South Africans who include hawkers, motorists and pedestrians.
