ANC STATEMENT ON THE ACCIDENT VICTIMS IN KZN

The African National Congress has learned with sadness of the death of at least 24 people in an accident involving four taxis and a truck in Pinetown, KwaZulu-Natal today (see below). Our heartfelt condolences go out to families of the deceased and those injured.

We call on communities where the victims reside to give support and assistance that will help them cope with this tragedy. The South African community must keep these families in their prayers. May their souls rest in peace and we wish those injured a speedy recovery.
