CANDIDATE CONVICTED OF FRAUD NO 3 ON ANC PR LIST

The ANC's has placed a candidate as number 3 on their PR list, in Stellenbosch Municipality, who has been convicted of fraud.

Despite the many empty promises of the ANC to fight corruption, they redeploy and nominate people who are not fit for purpose! Jakobus André Davids was tried and found guilty by the Specialised Commercial Court Bellville, on 14 charges of corruption in April 2010.

Jakobus Davids was employed by the Stellenbosch Municipality as Manager of Law Enforcement. During the period 2005 to 2006 he defrauded the Stellenbosch Municipality of R 25 4180.00!

Mr. Davids now appears third on the PR list for the ANC in Stellenbosch. This is the very same municipality from which he stole thousands of Rands of taxpayers' money. He is clearly not fit for purpose. The ANC has proven that they are totally uncommitted to clean governance by appointing Jakobus Davids to the number 3 position.

The ANC is incapable of running a clean government that delivers to all. The ANC continues to redeploy convicted criminals to steal service delivery from the poor.
