EFF STATEMENT ON THE APPOINTMENT AND WITHDRAWAL OF BETHUEL ZUMA AS POLICE COMMISSIONER IN GAUTENG

Economic Freedom Fighters has closely monitored the recent developments concerning the appointment of Gauteng Police Commissioner, Bethuel ZUMA, who was announced by National Commissioner Riah Phiyega and within an hour withdrawn due to him facing charges of drunken driving and defeating the ends of justice. The whole circus confirms that under President ZUMA, South Africa has turned into a Banana Republic, where such senior appointments into the country's Security and Safety institutions are done without proper security check up on the individuals who are supposed to lead the fight against crime.
EFF is aware that there will so many attempts to spin and twist the whole circus, but the reality is that one Number 1 is ultimately responsible for the the whole bungle, because it is now evident for everyone to see in South Africa that we are led by a crisis, who commits crises and cause circuses as a hobby. There is completely no way that President ZUMA is not responsible for the appoint of Bethuel ZUMA, even when there are claims that the two are not related.
South Africa should soon wake up to a reality that President ZUMA's leadership of South Africa is the biggest mistake to ever happen to the people of South Africa, Africa and the world. How do you explain that appointments to senior Security institutions either happen as a result of Courts threats or handled with excellent carelessness. There are many other things which EFF will expose on the true character and nature of the current leadership of South Africa, and we once again would like to assure South Africa that we will never keep quite until the current regime is brought down by the people of South Africa. We will not watch when our future is being compromised in unending circuses and crises under the misguidance of one individual.
