ANC councillors notes and welcome the response by the Speaker to reconvene the illegally adjourned council meeting by himself. After we gave the Speaker 48 hour to reconvene council he responded within three hours after receiving our letter.

The meeting was adjourned after a series of questions by ANC councillors which was  escaped by DA councillors and officials who refused to answer.  We are still firm on our position to defend the laws of our country , as ANC councillors we will never allow ourselves to be corrupted and be misled by anyone including the so called Acting Municipal Manager .

Time will show that the DA controlled Bitou is most probably the most corrupt municipality. Brummer , Memory, Adam and Du Plessis are therefore accessories to this corruption as it was continually brought to their attention but they denied it and neglected to take action against it.

The DA has repeatedly misled the voters and can consequently not be a credible alternative to the ANC. The DA always demands the resignation of corrupt ANC officials and that is why as ANC we saying as we smell corruption under the DA , We will  be pleased to see DA councillors resign when their corrupt tendencies is displayed in Public.

We are also calling on COPE to stop being used by imperialist and stay true to its values of defending the constitution and fighting corruption by divorcing the corrupt marriage they find themselves in.

Last but not least we are shocked to see the Mayor being so quite after Brummer lost his case against ANC , Mayor we miss your newsletters. Can Memory Booysen tell people of Bitou again as he did before who is going to pay for Brummer's lost case ?
