BLF threatens to take 'captured' Gordhan to court
21 October 2016
Durban - The Black First Land First (BFL) movement on Friday has threatened to take Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan to court to prove that he had been "captured by white monopoly capital, in particular by Johann Rupert".
BLF's national convener Andile Mngxitama told News24 he believed that the movement had a strong case.
The statement, which was released on the movement's website, said the BLF had given Gordhan 48 hours to respond to a series of questions or face a court application.
Mngxitama said the 48-hour period lapses at 15:30 on Friday.
