Cape Town water use down, but still not enough - City
1 December 2016
Cape Town - Residents appear to have heeded the call to cut down on their water use, but the City of Cape Town is still urging them to use less.
On Thursday, in a statement, the City said the amount of water used this week, compared to last, had decreased.
From November 14 to 21, between 870 and 890 million litres of water was used daily.
The City said this week that usage had dropped to an average of 854 million litres per day.
