COPE DISTRESSED TO HEAR OF CHUMANI NQAKULA’S DEATH

Congress of the People sends its condolences to the family of Charles and Nosiviwe Nqakula for the untimely death of their son Chumani.

We understand how inconsolable they must be. I too lost a daughter in an untimely manner whose death still anguishes me and I speak from experience of the desolation one feels on the death of one’s offspring.

We are deeply distressed that Chumani was assaulted in Johannesburg on Saturday night and that the stabbing by an assailant who has been arrested led to his death.

We wish them all the strength in these trying times. Our hearts go out to them.
