Ann7tv Reporter reinstated after dismissal

The Congress of South African Trade Unions acknowledges the revolutionary duties that Unions continues to deliver at the coal face for members.

This Week comrade, Asanda Magaqa, who was dismissed by Ann7tv, has won a case to be reinstated by the media house.

The Award says 'the dismissal of the applicant was both procedurally and substantively unfair. And the Respondent is ordered to retrospectively reinstate the Applicant with no loss of benefits by with effect from the date of her dismissal ei 24 November 2014’

The Applicant must report for duty on 19 October 2015.

COSATU welcomes the Award on behalf of a member, who belongs to Communications Workers Union (CWU)
