PRASA confirms resignation of former PRASA Rail Head of Engineering Services

PRASA today confirmed that it has received an official letter of resignation from its former Head of Engineering Services at PRASA Rail, Mr Daniel Mtimkulu.  This comes after Mr Mtimkulu was charged with gross dishonesty and fraudulent misrepresentation in that he had failed to produce his Engineering and PhD qualifications, which he claimed to possess.

As part of PRASA’s governance protocols, a criminal case of fraud was opened against Mr Mtimkulu citing the misrepresentation of his qualifications.  The case was opened on Saturday, 18 July 2015.
