Mr D J Maynier (DA) to ask the Minister of Defence and Military Veterans:

(1) Whether her department has implemented any advertising campaign (a) in the 2010-11 financial year and (b) during the period 1 April 2011 up to the latest specified date for which information is available; if not, why not; if so, (i) what was the intended purpose, (ii) total cost and (iii) breakdown of the cost in respect of (aa) television, (bb) radio, (cc) billboards, and (dd) other media;

(2) Whether she will make a statement on the matter?            NW2838E

RESPONSE

Yes. The Department is mighty proud of the campaign. The Department will be too happy to provide the Member with some of the material produced and used.
